ENG "The video shows how one of my paintings begins, and its evolution, from the dark to the light, crossing the chaos with the clarity, until arriving at an inner universe, taking as reference the reality to turn it into something unreal, that in a path to the subconscious, and through painting becomes the thought tangible." All or nothing. The vacuum is a concept as pure as abstract. It represents the absence of everything, which justifies precisely the presence of all things. Starting from a void, represented mainly from the two ambiguous colors, black and white, I try to capture, through the gradients that exist between both, lights and shadows that create shapes and environments and which together convey an essence. The most vivid colors are, therefore, a very luminous gradient. In this way, it reminds us of the ability of nature to build and destroy. And during the process, she herself modifies the shapes of everything.
SPA "Luz sobre el vacío" 130x130cm Óleo sobre tela. 2017 El vídeo muestra como empieza una de mis pinturas, y su evolución, desde la oscuridad hacia la luz, cruzando el caos con la claridad, hasta llegar a un universo interior, tomando como referencia la realidad para convertirla en algo irreal, que en definitiva es un acceso al subconsciente, y por medio de la pintura se hace tangible el pensamiento. El todo o la nada. El vacío es un concepto tan puro como abstracto. Representa la ausencia de todo, lo cual justifica precisamente la presencia de todas las cosas. Partiendo de un vacío, representado mayormente desde los dos colores ambiguos, el negro y el blanco, trato de plasmar, a través de los gradientes que existen entre ambos, luces y sombras que crean formas y ambientes y que en su conjunto transmiten una esencia. Los colores más vivos, son por tanto, un gradiente muy luminoso. De este modo, nos recuerda la capacidad que tiene la naturaleza de construir y destruir. Y durante el proceso, ella misma modifica las formas de todo.
